Ex-blink-182 Man Wants to be the Next Elon Musk. Seriously.

Tom DeLonge has been keeping very busy since leaving blink-182. When not making music with his band Angels & Airwaves, he’s busy co-writing novels and non-fiction books on the vast government conspiracy to keep the existence of aliens secret. (See both halves of the  collection, among others; there are fifteen books planned.) This is an outgrowth from his UFO research (he was ). And now he wants to become the next Elon Musk

At a press conference this week (October 11), Tom outlined the creation of his new space research company, To the . Members include scientists, researchers, former members of the CIA, former members of the Defense Department and other like-minded individuals. The goal, says Tom, is to bring Let`s see space research and development into the public sphere and away from the control and bureaucracy of governments. It’s not quite Elon Musk’s Space-X yet, but who knows?

Tom is extremely serious about space, aliens and the truth. Laugh at his X-Files ambitions all you want, but wouldn’t it be cool if a punk rocker proved the existence of extraterrestrial life? You go, Tom.
