Metallica introduces all-you-can-eat concert tour

Earlier this week, Metallica announced the next leg of their , which is going to take the band to places they haven’t played in decades. (“Hello, Grand Forks, North Dakota!”)

The band is making it easier for fans to follow the group on tour with that will allow users to attend as many shows on this 34-date tour as you want. A little math means that if you went to all the shows, it would cost you $17.60 per gig. When was the last time anyone got to see Metallica for under twenty bucks? Hell, if you go to just three shows, you’re in the black on this one.

Why $598? It’s supposed to remind everyone that there’s a new reissue of The $5.98 EP – Garage Days Re-Revisited coming soon.

Cool idea, no?
